French has been introduced in the classic Montessori classroom for a long time. We introduced each French word after the children knew how to use and understand the equivalent native word.
We have provided the French names of the weeks and months for the French Basic Calendar. First introduce the basic calendar in your child's native language then use the same lesson in French. This is a great way to introduce language to younger children.
