Birthday Walk

The Montessori birthday walk is a great way to celebrate your child's birthday.  Put the 12 months around the sun in a circle pattern. Place a light or candle in the middle of the sun.  The birthday child holds the earth and goes around the sun.  The birthday child goes around the sun as many times they are old.
